Yendi Municipality Receives Relief Items for Rainstorm Victims

The Municipal Chief Executive (MCE) for Yendi, Hon. Sugri Muniru, has announced that the Yendi Municipal Assembly has received relief items from the national level to support residents affected by the recent rainstorm disaster.
The MCE made the announcement in his address at the Second Ordinary Meeting of the Third Session of the Ninth (9th) Yendi Municipal Assembly, held on Wednesday, 23rd September 2026.
According to him, the relief items will be distributed to the affected residents in the coming days, with additional items expected to support more victims.
The affected areas include parts of the Yendi Senior High School Electoral Area, where several residents suffered damage to their homes and properties following the rainstorm.
