Upper East Regional Minister Inspects New KG Block at Narango in Pusiga District
The Upper East Regional Minister, Hon. Akamugri Donatus Atanga, has inspected a newly constructed two-unit kindergarten block at Narango in the Pusiga District of the Upper East Region.
The inspection formed part of the Minister’s Accounting to the People Tour, which seeks to assess ongoing and completed development projects and engage communities on government interventions across the region.
The newly constructed facility comprises two kindergarten classrooms, a headteacher’s office, a changing room and a staff common room.
The project is expected to provide a safer, more conducive and suitable learning environment for pupils in the community, who previously attended kindergarten in an old and dilapidated structure.
The new block is also expected to improve teaching and learning conditions and provide teachers and pupils with the necessary facilities to support effective early childhood education.
The inspection was attended by the Pusiga District Chief Executive, Hon. Aguuri Haruna Abdul-Rahim, and the Member of Parliament for Pusiga, Hon. Laadi Ayii Ayamba.
