Tolon MP commissions Maternity Ward at Waribohu-Kabonaayili, Pledges more support
The Deputy Minority Leader and Member of Parliament for the Tolon Constituency, Hon. Alhaji Habib Iddrisu, popularly known as Soyalana, has commissioned a newly constructed maternity ward at Tali-Kabonaayili as part of his efforts to improve healthcare delivery in the constituency.
The facility is expected to provide improved maternal healthcare services to residents of Tali-Kabonaayili and surrounding communities, while reducing some of the challenges faced by health workers and expectant mothers.
Speaking after the commissioning, Hon. Habib Iddrisu reaffirmed his commitment to supporting development in the Tolon Constituency, particularly in the health and education sectors.
He announced plans to provide laptops to maternity wards across the constituency to enhance their operations, record-keeping and service delivery. He also pledged to provide laptops to teachers to support teaching and learning in schools across the constituency.
The Assemblyman for the Waribohu-Kabonaayili Electoral Area expressed appreciation to the MP for his development initiatives, saying residents appreciate the interventions being undertaken in the area. He added that some residents have also benefited from employment opportunities through the MP’s support.
Senior midwife at the Waribohu-Kabonaayili Health Facility also expressed gratitude to the MP, explaining that health workers faced several challenges when they were initially posted to the facility.
She said the MP’s intervention and support had significantly improved conditions at the facility, enabling health workers to provide better services to residents.
A resident of Waribohu-Kabonaayili also expressed appreciation to the MP for his support and development initiatives. She prayed for Allah to bless, guide and protect him as he continues to serve the people.
