RTU seeks blessings of traditional leaders ahead of division one campaign

Real Tamale United, RTU, has begun a series of visits to traditional leaders in Tamale as the club seeks their blessings, guidance and support ahead of its Division One League campaign.

The initiative forms part of the club’s efforts to strengthen its relationship with traditional authorities and rally support as RTU begins its quest to return to the Ghana Premier League.

Management, supporters and representatives of the team visited the Choggu, Lamashegu, Dakpema and Jong Naa Palaces, where they engaged the traditional authorities on the club’s ambitions for the new season.

As part of the visits, the club presented the chiefs with replica jerseys and framed jerseys as a gesture of appreciation for their continued support and recognition of the important role traditional leaders play in the development of the club.

The traditional leaders, in turn, offered words of advice and encouraged the team to remain focused, disciplined and committed throughout the season. They urged the players and management to work hard and remain united in pursuit of their objectives.

The chiefs also expressed the hope that RTU would put in the necessary effort to secure a successful campaign and ultimately regain its place in Ghana’s top-flight football.
