A new political dawn appears to be emerging in the Bimbilla Constituency as some disgruntled members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) from Bincheratanga and Gundoo communities have defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
A new political dawn appears to be emerging in the Bimbilla Constituency as some disgruntled members of the ruling National Democratic Congress (NDC) from Bincheratanga and Gundoo communities have defected to the New Patriotic Party (NPP).
The defectors, who expressed dissatisfaction with the NDC, officially joined the NPP today, signalling what party supporters describe as growing support for the opposition party in the constituency.
The NPP Constituency Executives, led by Chairman Alhaji Abdulai Yaquob, took the responsibility of welcoming the new members into the party.
The development is expected to further strengthen the NPP's presence in the Bimbilla Constituency as the party continues to mobilise support ahead of future elections.
