Haruna Iddrisu Congratulates Sheikh Tanko Abubakar Issahaque on Investiture as Anbariya Sunni Community Head
The Member of Parliament for Tamale South and Minister for Education, Haruna Iddrisu, has congratulated Sheikh Tanko Abubakar Issahaque on his investiture as the Head of the Anbariya Sunni Community.
In a statement, Mr Iddrisu said he accompanied the Minister for the Interior, Muntaka Mohammed-Mubarak, to the investiture ceremony on behalf of President John Dramani Mahama.
He described the occasion as an important moment for the Anbariya Sunni Community as Sheikh Tanko Abubakar Issahaque assumes the responsibility of leading the religious community.
Mr Iddrisu extended his warm congratulations to the newly invested leader, expressing confidence that his leadership would contribute to the advancement of the community and the promotion of peaceful coexistence.
He also wished Sheikh Tanko Abubakar Issahaque wisdom, strength and Allah’s guidance as he begins his new role.
The Education Minister further expressed hope that the new leader would help promote peace, unity and religious harmony among members of the community and beyond.
