Gushegu MCE Donates Dental Chair to Municipal Hospital
The Municipal Chief Executive for Gushegu, Mohammed Hafiz, has fulfilled a promise to provide the Gushegu Government Hospital with a dental chair to enhance the delivery of oral health services in the municipality.
The MCE made the commitment on March 20, 2026, during a programme organised to commemorate World Oral Health Day, where he pledged to support the hospital with the essential equipment.
True to his word, Mr. Mohammed Hafiz formally handed over the dental chair to the Gushegu Government Hospital yesterday as part of a thank-you visit to the hospital’s surgical and medical teams for their efforts in improving healthcare delivery and alleviating the suffering of residents.
The dental chair is expected to play an important role in the provision of dental services to patients, while improving the hospital’s capacity to attend to oral health needs within Gushegu and surrounding communities.
Management and staff of the Gushegu Government Hospital expressed appreciation to the MCE for his continued support and recognition of the work of health professionals in the municipality.
The hospital expressed hope that the gesture would encourage more support and donations aimed at improving healthcare infrastructure and ultimately enhancing the quality of care delivered to the people of Gushegu and beyond.
