The Ghana Registered Nurses and Midwives Association (GRNMA) has reaffirmed its commitment to supporting Nurse Salomey Baffoe throughout her ongoing legal proceedings.

The assurance was given by the Association’s National President, Perpetual Ofori-Ampofo, during a courtesy visit to Nurse Baffoe in the Brong Ahafo Region on the first official day of the National Executive Committee’s Phase Three Regional Tour.

During the visit, Mrs Ofori-Ampofo explained that although the case did not arise from Nurse Baffoe’s professional duties, the Association had followed the matter from the outset and remained committed to ensuring she received the necessary support.

She disclosed that the GRNMA had assigned legal representatives to assist Nurse Baffoe throughout the proceedings, stressing that the Association would continue to stand by her as the legal process unfolds.

The National President assured Nurse Baffoe that the Association would provide the needed assistance and support for as long as the matter remained before the courts.

The visit forms part of the GRNMA’s commitment to promoting the welfare of its members and ensuring that nurses and midwives are not left to face difficult circumstances alone.

It also highlights the importance of solidarity and institutional support in helping members navigate challenging situations, including ongoing legal matters.
