The Managing Director of GCB Bank PLC, Farihan Alhassan, has led a management delegation to Wa in the Upper West Region as part of activities marking the bank’s Customer Service Month, aimed at strengthening customer relations and improving service delivery.
The visit, under the theme “Going the Extra Mile,” brought the management team into direct engagement with customers and staff across the bank’s branches in Wa to listen to their experiences, address concerns and reinforce the bank’s commitment to customer satisfaction.

The delegation included the Chief of Staff, Abraham Ferguson, and other members of the bank’s management team. The engagement provided an opportunity for management to interact with frontline staff and customers, appreciate their experiences and strengthen relationships with the communities the bank serves.
As part of the visit, the delegation also paid a courtesy call on the Overlord of the Wala Traditional Area, Naa Fuseini Seidu Pelpuo IV, to pay their respects and seek his blessings.
The courtesy call underscored the bank’s recognition of traditional leadership and its role in promoting community development and maintaining strong relationships between institutions and the communities in which they operate.
GCB Bank says going the extra mile is more than a theme for the Customer Service Month celebration, but a commitment to being accessible to customers, listening to their needs, respecting local traditions and continually improving the banking experience.
The bank’s management reaffirmed the importance of customer engagement and staff collaboration in delivering quality services and building lasting relationships with customers across the country.
